Clossin, Wertz pledge vows





 

 

Jenna Lynn Clossin of Greenwood and Erin Lloyd Wertz of Whiteland were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. May 7, 2016, at the Dayton United Methodist Church. Pastor Larry DeVos officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Glenda Clossin of Mulberry. The groom’s parents are Ron and Diane Wertz of Camden.

James Gascho of Lafayette was vocalist.

Serving as reader was Mackenzie Williams, cousin of the bride. Guest registrar was Loran Gangwer and Mackenzie Williams, cousins of the couple.

Erin Ricke of Whiteland, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Whitney Korty of Westfield and Angie Alexander of Mulberry, friends of the bride, and Karen Swygman of Monticello, sister of the groom.

Flower girl was Addie Swygman of Monticello, niece of the groom. The bride’s nephew, Collin Ricke, of Whiteland was ring bearer.

Best man was Sean Casserly of Whiteland, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Derek Eikenberry of Flora, David Strasser of Indianapolis, and Ross Larimore of Camden, all friends of the groom.

Serving as ushers were Randy Swygman of Monticello, brother-in-law of the groom, and Luke Ricke of Whiteland, brother-in-law of the bride. The couple’s nephews, Brodie Swygman of Monticello and Gavin Ricke of Whiteland were junior ushers.

A reception at Courtyard by Marriott, Lafayette, followed the ceremony.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Clinton Prairie High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She is employed at Sly Fox Creative of Greenwood.

The groom graduated in 2004 from Delphi Community High School and attended Indiana State University, where he studied business. He is employed by RSQ Fire Protection, Indianapolis.

Following a one-week wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Greenwood.
