Betty J. Turner, 95, of Bringhurst, passed away at Franciscan Health on Monday, Aug. 29, 2022.
Betty was born on Dec. 24, 1926, in Carroll County, Ind., to Clarence and Evelyn (Moore) Jackson. She was a graduate of Delphi High School. In 1968, she married Howard A. Turner; he preceded her in death.
Betty was a salesperson at JC Penney. She loved watching and raising exotic birds.
Surviving are her children, Debral Woods of Bringhurst, Tom Patrick of Delphi, John A. Patrick III of Burnettsville, and Dorinda Beever of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a brother, Clarence Jackson of Lafayette; four grandchildren; and several great and great-great grandchildren.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Joan Hammond; and a grandson, Rodney Woods.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, at the IOOF Cemetery, Brookston. Pastor Bob Duke will officiate.
