The 12th annual Community Veterans Service was held Sunday at the Community Building. The youth of the Baptist Church provided a meal for the veterans and their families. The service contained presentation of the colors by members of the Civil Air Patrol, Ferrier Squadron, prayers by Pastor Bob Duke, musical tribute to all branches of service, speakers Lt. Gary Stanley and C.A.P. member Katie Stanley, recognition of veterans in attendance and those who passed away in the last year. Tim and Ruby Roberson have organized this event and are stepping down. They were thanked for their service.

Camden Lions Club will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the fire station. A meal will be served.

After School Storytime at the Camden Library with Nancy Buffenbarger will be Thursday at 4 p.m. There will be a craft and snacks provided.

Jackson Twp. firefighters will have training at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at the station.

The Legion will have a dinner Tuesday at the Legion Post from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Ladies Auxiliary will have its monthly meeting afterwards at 2 p.m.

Civil Air Patrol will meet Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. at the Legion Post. This week’s topic is aerospace education.

Camden First Baptist Church will hold its monthly Christian Board of Education meeting at 7 p.m. Nov. 13.

Camden Town Council will hold its monthly meeting in the library’s reading room at 7 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 14.
