The Burlington Fall Festival is this weekend, Sept. 14, 15 and 16. A festival queen will be crowned Thursday evening at the annual pageant starting at 7. The three-day event features food, fun and entertainment. There will be town-wide yard sales including a fundraiser for the American House. The festival parade kicks off at 1:15 p.m. Saturday. A community worship service will be held at the park at 10 a.m. Sunday followed by a gospel music concert at 1:30 p.m. in the tent.

Women’s fall Bible study at the Church of Christ will be held Monday evenings. Study will focus on Jennifer Rothschild’s book, “Me, Myself and Lies.”

The food pantry is open at the Church of Christ on Mondays from 12 noon to 3 p.m.

The Fall Women’s Bible Study at the Church of Christ will begin Sept. 17 with the study of Jennifer Rothschild’s book, “Me, Myself and Lies.”

Movie Night at the United Methodist Church on Sept. 26 will feature “The Darkest Hour,” starting at 6:30 p.m. There will be a meal, too.

Prayer time and Bible study are held Wednesday evenings at 6:30 at the United Methodist Church.
