Carroll County remembers…

Tuesday, Sept. 11, was the 17th anniversary of the coordinated terrorist attacks against the United States by Islamic extremists. The significance of the day was not lost on Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School students and staff who used American flags to pay tribute to the victims, the survivors, the rescuers and many others who were involved that fateful day. Traditionally, Carroll County Veterans Service Officer Larry Leach invites the public to attend a ceremony to observe the Sept. 11 anniversary at the county courthouse in Delphi. Police and fire departments were present when a wreath was laid in remembrance of those who lost their lives that day. Comet photo
