Forum to address opioid abuse epidemic

Brady’s Hope founder Dustin Noonkester will be joining Congressman Todd Rokita at an event called “The Opioid Abuse Epidemic: Our Communities. Our Concerns” on Saturday in Danville.

The event, hosted by the Congressman, will feature several speakers, including Noonkester and Rokita, who will discuss ways to solve the opioid crisis. Resources will be provided such as drug prevention information and mental health support to those impacted by this epidemic.

The public forum, to be held in the Hendricks Power Exposition Hall, 1900 E. Main St., will begin at 10 a.m. There will be remarks by speakers from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a Resource Fair until 2 p.m.
