Property damage reports

July 23, 2:20 p.m. – 6991 CR 750N., Camden. Tracy D. Ehler, 30, Peru. Deputy Mike Hobbs responded.

July 24, 2:15 p.m. – SR 75 at CR 600S., Flora. Tyler R. Nearon, 22, Kokomo, and Jeffery L. Lewis, 70, Battle Ground. Nearon was cited for speeding and disregarding a stop sign. Both drivers, and a passenger in the Nearon vehicle, Sara Kaye, 23, Kokomo, were treated at the scene for minor injuries. Hobbs responded.

July 24, 10:53 p.m. – SR 29 near CR 600N., Burlington. Andrea M. Green, 36, Idaville, driving a tan Suburban, left the road, struck a utility pole and overturned. Green was ejected from the vehicle. Children in the vehicle, Allison Delp, age two, and Jacob Delp, age six, were uninjured. Deputy Kory Banes responded.

July 29, 1:07 a.m. – CR 900N. near CR 400E., Camden. Joseph D. Overmyer II, 36, Logansport, and Bret M. Remaly, 40, Burrows. Both drivers, two passengers in the Overmyer vehicle and four passengers in the Remaly vehicle, were injured. Banes responded.

July 29, 4:05 a.m. – CR 1250N. at CR 1050W., Yeoman. Morgan L. Kersey, 19, Monticello. Deputy Darron Giancola responded.

July 29, 3:12 p.m. – US421 near CR600N., Delphi. Loren J. Clawson, 28, Monticello, and Carl A. Wilson, 63, Bloomington. Wilson and a passenger in his vehicle, Susan L. Dabkowski, 63, Bloomington, were transported to a hospital for treatment. Schimmel responded.

July 31, 7:09 a.m. – SR 25 at SR 218, Delphi. Robert L. Wells, 32, Frankfort, and Steven L. Wilson, 66, Delphi. Catron responded.

July 31, 2:42 p.m. – SR25 near CR 100E., Delphi. Keaton D. Pine, 18, Logansport. Catron responded.

Aug. 1, 8:58 a.m. – US 421 at SR 25, Delphi. Carson Z. Tucker, 37 and Casey B. Ratcliff, 43, West Lafayette. Schimmel responded.

Aug. 1, 3:47 p.m. – CR 100N. near CR 250W., Flora. Justine O. Crume, 83, Flora. Hobbs responded.

Aug. 1, 7:26 p.m. – CR 600S. near SR75, Flora. Angela M. Leatherman, 43, Cypress, Texas. Banes responded.

July 30, 5:57 a.m. – CR 1200N. near CR 200W., Delphi. Larissa N. Oliver, 31, Burnettsville. Deputy Mitchell Catron responded.

July 10, 10:45 p.m. – Dealing methamphetamine, 601 N. Wilson St. Ronny J. Hunt, 31, Delphi, was arrested for multiple drug charges, including dealing methamphetamine, cocaine or narcotic drugs and maintaining a common nuisance, following the execution of a search warrant. Hunt was found to be possession of firearm at the time of his arrest. Officer Colin Deckard investigated.

July 11, 2:57 p.m. – Delphi Police, Carroll County deputies and the Delphi Tri-Township Fire Department responded to a semi tractor-trailer fire near the intersection of SR 25 and US 421. US 421 was blocked to all passing traffic for approximately an hour and restricted to one lane until approximately 8:30 p.m. due to cleanup efforts. The driver, Gary Perkins of Fowler, reported he stopped at the side of the road after finding the semi he was driving, owned by JL Foster LLC of Fowler, on fire while hauling a load of dried distilled grain.

July 11, 10 p.m. - Possession of a synthetic drug, Washington St. at Kerlin Ave. Jessica R. James, 27, and Rustin J. Plunkett, 29, both of Brookston, were arrested. A 17-yearold juvenile female was also detained on drug related charges. All were arrested after officers responded to a medical call of a person lying on the ground near the storage units. James and Plunkett were arrested for possession of a synthetic drug and maintaining a common nuisance. Officer Charles Kent investigated.

July 13, 6:30 p.m. – Marijuana possession, Ninth and Washington streets. Phillip R. Wood, 22, Delphi, was arrested for possession of marijuana and reckless driving. Deckard investigated.

July 15, 9 p.m. – OWI, SR 25 at CR 750E. in Tippecanoe County. Jose L. Rivera, 36, Hammond, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and resisting law enforcement. The vehicle he was driving became stuck in the median after fleeing police following an attempted routine traffic stop for speeding. Rivera continued to resist and threaten officers at the Sheriff’s Department as officers and medics attempted to obtain a blood sample while executing a search warrant for the blood sample. Officer Alex Parkinson investigated.

July 21, 11:30 p.m. – Warrant service, 100 block of East Front St. Erica M. Vance, 35, Delphi, was arrested. Kent investigated.

July 23, 8 p.m. – Warrant service, 2660 N. Dreifers Ave. Duskin B. Clendenen Gill, 19, Monticello, was arrested on a warrant from Tippecanoe County. Deckard investigated.

July 27, 7 p.m. - Maintaining a common nuisance, Franklin and Hamilton streets, following police investigating a report of an erratic driver. Matthew A. Sizemore, 20, Flora, Kalie M. Hardesty, 22, and Gauge A. Davidson, 19, both of Frankfort, were arrested. Sizemore was arrested for maintaining a common nuisance and possession of a synthetic drug. Hardesty was arrested for possession of a synthetic drug and visiting a common nuisance. Davison was arrested for possession of paraphernalia and on a warrant from White County. Officer Deckard investigated.

July 28, 5 p.m. – Theft, Save-ALot. Julie Lawrence reported her purse was stolen from a shopping cart when she left the store and accidentally left her purse behind. Anyone with information regarding this matter is urged to contact the Delphi Police Department. Wilson investigated.

July 20, 9 p.m. – Leaving the scene, Wallmann’s grocery store. Bailey N. Grimes, 20, Delphi, was arrested. Parkinson investigated.

July 28, 10 p.m. – Dealing methamphetamine, Main St. near Delphi. Dale Wood, 56, and Michelle Kerr, 37, both of Camden, were arrested. The couple was stopped because the vehicle they were driving was registered to another individual who was wanted on several warrants. Wood was arrested for dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of marijuana. Kerr was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, dealing methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. Deckard investigated.

July 30, 3:15 p.m. – Criminal mischief, Main St. Nicholas Mindel reported his 2006 Jeep Wrangler was vandalized. Officer Mark Thomas investigated.
