Delphi Alumni Wall of Distinction winner

Maxwell Maxwell The Delphi Oracle Alumni Association is proud to announce Bonnie Maxwell as their 2018 “Wall of Distinction” winner. Maxwell was raised in Madison Township and graduated from New Hope and Delphi High schools. She continued her education at Indiana University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Comparative Literature and a Master’s Degree in Library Science.

After taking many of America’s states by storm with her library systems and information publishing, she frontiered the digitization of Carroll County’s historic newspapers, making the documents widely accessible to students all around Carroll County.

Maxwell has served on multiple boards in Carroll County, all volunteer and notfor profit organizations, Adams Mill Inc., Old Settlers Association, and the Carroll County Historical Society. Maxwell is a beacon of leadership in Carroll County and surrounding areas.

The Delphi Oracle Alumni Association invites the public to attend a ceremony May 17 at 7 p.m. at the Wabash and Erie Canal Interpretive Center in Delphi to honor Maxwell with her place on the “Wall of Distinction.”

She will share her experiences and future goals May 18 with Delphi Community High School upperclassmen.
