Happy Birthday Indiana from Carroll County!

The Carroll County Bar Association members commissioned watercolor artist Rena Brouwer to paint a likeness of the Carroll County Courthouse to hang in the Indiana State House to help commemorate the state’s 200th birthday this year. The inspiration for the iconic “Bison-tennial” public art project was because American Bison used to roam the Buffalo Trace across the Indiana countryside. The courthouse portraiture is another component of the state-wide celebration. Pictured are (l-r): Carroll County Bar Association members Nick McLeland, Carroll Superior Court Judge Kurtis Fouts, Cindy Harmon, Carroll County Prosecutor Rob Ives and Patrick Manahan.
