Beck’s Family Restaurant, 709 Michigan Rd. in Burlington, hosted a Pork Cook-Off fundraiser March 11 at the Burlington Volunteer Fire Department to raise money for an account set up in the names of homocide victims Liberty German and Abigail Williams. According to restaurant owner Jennifer Beck, nine people participated in the cook-off resulting in a tie between winners Keith Jones of Delphi and Triple J Smoke Shack, owned by Jerry Jones, also of Delphi. The winners were presented with a trophy.
