Commissioner is right to pause

Kudos to Commissioner John Brown for standing his ground at the Commissioners meeting and not voting to approve something he knew nothing about. This is the sign of a responsible elected official.

Brown wants answers and he should get them. The answers should have been provided at least a month ago to all of the Commissioners in a public Commissioners meeting by the Carroll County Redevelopment Commission. Using taxpayers money, the Redevelopment Commission wants to purchase ground and dispose of it as it sees fit.

Commissioner Brown was chosen to be a leader in county government, not a follower. He was right to stop the action until he knows all of the facts.
