Blush ‘B’ event planned March 16

Comet staff report

Blush® will present Johnna Sanburn Myers on March 16, at its “B” event to be held at First Church of the Nazarene in Kokomo from 6 to 9 p.m. This event is for girls in grades three through eight and adult women.

Myers, a native of Kokomo, will speak about their worth in Christ, the source of true beauty, and provide practical tips on how girls can successfully live out their faith at school, with friends, with media and fashion choices, and in setting life goals. She will challenge girls to “B” what God has called them to be: kind, patient and true.

Myers is a graduate of Indiana University and was formerly on staff with Greek InterVarsity Christian fellowship. She continues to minister with them on a volunteer basis. Myers resides in Noblesville with her husband and two daughters.

There will also be live music, snacks, a creative art project, adult discussion with Myers, and giveaways. Carroll County’s Julie Eurit will be the event emcee.

Tickets are available at First Church of the Nazarene, Kokomo; Joy Christian Bookstore, Kokomo, and itickets.com. For more information visit iblush.org.
