Dr. and Mrs. Greg Norman of Flora announce the engagement of their son, Cory, to Polly Husmann, daughter of Bill and Joyce Husmann of Union City.

The wedding will be May 19 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Indianapolis.

The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Delphi Community High School. He received his bachelor’s degree and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wabash College in 2008. He will graduate from Indiana University School of Medicine in May 2012. He then will begin a three-year residency program in emergency medicine.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Union City Community High School. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2005 and earned a master’s degree in medical sciences and a Ph.D. in anthropology from Indiana University in 2011. She is an anatomy and histology professor at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, W.Va.
