Tom E. Ness, 67, of Rochester, died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Ness had worked at Torx Industries, Rochester, and for the Tippecanoe Valley School system.

In 1982, he married Carolyn A. (Byrd) Scott, and she survives, along with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A sister, Lorraine Gray (husband: Merle) of Camden also survives.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, at Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Rochester. Friends may call Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester.
