VFW Post #9383 will host the second annual “Super Bowl Chili Cook-Off” Feb. 5 at the Post, 304 N. Market St. in Delphi. There is no fee to enter your best pot of chili. Two trophies will be awarded to winners of the best chili as determined by judges and the public.

A panel of three celebrity judges will choose what they consider to be the best chili. The public can also vote for their choice of best chili by purchasing their favorite recipe for $1 per bowl. Whichever recipe collects the most money will be the peoples’ choice for the second award.

All proceeds will go to the VFW for charitable work. The judging begins at 4 p.m. Trophies will be awarded during half-time of the Super Bowl game. The game will be able to be viewed on a 73-inch big screen TV. For information call (765) 412-7441.
