Game times have been set for the five-team Class 2A Baseball Sectional at Delphi.

The Oracles will face Seeger in the opening game May 26 at 6 p.m., while Carroll drew a bye and will play Clinton Central in the first semi-final on Memorial Day, May 30, at 11 a.m. The Delphi Seeger winner will then play Fountain Central in the other semi-final on Monday at 1 p.m., with the winner advancing to the Sectional 37 championship game Monday at 7 p.m. against the Carroll- Clinton Central winner.

Tournament organizers wanted to avoid scheduling any games on both Friday and Saturday in order to avoid conflicts with Delphi senior awards and graduation ceremonies.

The winner of the Delphi Sectional will advance to the Wabash Regional on June 4 and face the winner from the seven-team Sectional 40 at Oak Hill that includes Eastern (Greentown), Guerin Catholic, Madison-Grant, Taylor, Tipton, Sheridan and the host team.

Other Class 2A Wabash Regional competitors will include the Sectional winners from Wabash and Fort Wayne Bishop Luers.

Semi-State play continues on June 11 with the State Finals slated for June 18 at Victory Field in Indianapolis.
