Joe and Judy Oyler of Burlington celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary with a family cruise on Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, the Oasis of the Seas to the Western Caribbean.

On Sept. 3, 1965, they were married by Pastors Gene Hullinger and Bill Rose at the Oakland Christian Church, western Howard County, where they attend.

She is retired from GM/Delphi after 36 years of service. He is a retired Army Reserve Technician and a retired Sergeant Major from the U.S. Army at Grissom Air Reserve Base. He is currently the military and veterans affairs liaison on the staff of United States Congressman Steve Buyer.

They have two children, Leanne Belisario (husband: David) of Broadview Heights, Ohio, and Stanley Oyler (wife: Tammy) of Greentown, four grandchildren and a stepgranddaughter.
