Mr. and Mrs. Carol R. Bordner of 2330E 400S, Bringhurst, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 4 with a weekend at West Baden Springs in southern Indiana, with their whole family.

Bordner and the former Joyce Ann Overholser were married Sept. 4, 1960, at Cutler Presbyterian Church. Rev. Edward Morris officiated.

He is a farmer, and she is a homemaker. Both are retired from working at Carroll Consolidated School Corporation.

Their children are Todd R. Bordner (wife: Carmen), Rossville; Jeffrey A. Bordner (wife: Shana), Bringhurst; and Jay B. Bordner (wife: Kim), Bringhurst. They have eight grandchildren.
