The Christian Women’s Fellowship of Flora First Christian Church is sponsoring a SHOWER FOR KEEPIN’ IT REAL Recovery House on Sept. 12. Items can be dropped off at the church, using the south entrance.

Items needed are toiletries, laundry detergent, fabric softener, paper towels, dishwashing soap, food items, donations for gasoline, and gasoline gift cards.

The FLORA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will show the movie, “ Fire Proof,” following a carry-in dinner on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the church, 107 E. Main Street. The movie challenges viewers to love unconditionally as God first loved us. The community is invited. Childcare will be provided during the movie.
