The parents of Ashley Kay Wagoner announce her engagement to Thomas Preston Martin. She is the daughter of Julie and Roger Beckner of Flora and the late Ronald Wagoner. His parents are Amy and Dan Martin of Seabrook, Texas.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Delphi Community High School. She graduated from Ball State University in 2007 with a degree in elementary education. She teaches third grade for the Alvin (Texas) School District.

Her fiancé is a 2004 graduate of Kingwood High School. He graduated from Texas A & M University in 2008 with a degree in marine engineering technology. He is employed at Day and Zimmerman Intl. as a mechanical engineer.

They are planning a June 27, 2011, wedding.
