Barbara J. Nelson Cottingham, 76, of West Lafayette, died Aug. 29, 2010, at her residence. She was president of the former Friends of Adams Mill Inc. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Lafayette.

Dwight R. Douglass, 75, Bringhurst, died Aug. 28, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo. He was retired from Pioneer Hi-Bred Seed Corn International. Surviving are three daughters, Melinda D. Allbaugh (husband: Ryan) of Bringhurst, Melissa L. Douglass of Burlington, and Michelle E. Emens (husband: James) of Elkmont, Ala. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today, Wednesday, at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home, Monticello.

Mahlon O. “Cookies” Eberhard, 75, of Lafayette, died Aug. 23, 2010, at his residence following a brief illness. Among the survivors is a son, Robert Eberhard (wife: Amy) of Delphi. Services were held Aug. 26 in Lafayette.
