Hanaway is named Monroe Twp. trustee
The Carroll County Republican Central Committee recently appointed Sarah Hanaway as Monroe Township trustee to fill the unexpired term of Kenneth Fife. Fife’s term ends Dec. 31. He resigned in early July when he and his wife moved to Brownsburg.
Hanaway is the Republican candidate for the position on the November ballot. There is no Democratic candidate.
Hanaway and her husband, Bret, own Q-Graphics in Delphi, a Carroll County business for over 25 years.
She is a member of the Flora United Methodist Church where she serves as choir director, Sunday School teacher and trustee; United Methodist Women; Psi Iota Xi; Flora Community Club; Carroll County Chamber of Commerce; Delphi Chamber of Commerce; and the Mover and Shakers of Monticello. She also serves as president of the Flora Thrift Shop.
Hanaway and her husband reside in Flora. They have three daughters and three grandchildren.
