The Region 4 Workforce Board met last Thursday morning in Delphi and honored Larry West with an engraved lead crystal vase for his leadership of the board as its chairman.

West served two terms during the board’s formative stage and set the stage for continued success in the regionalization of workforce development initiatives.

The voluntary Region 4 Workforce board of directors is appointed by regional elected officials of 12 counties and the four largest cities within Region 4. Region 4 includes the counties of Miami, Howard, Cass, Tippecanoe, White, Carroll, Fountain, Clinton, Benton, Tipton, Warren and Montgomery.

The newly elected chair is Jim Hardison of Carroll County.
