Workshop helps Hoosiers learn about state’s natural resources

The Greater Wabash River RC&D Council and Benton, Carroll, Tippecanoe, Howard and Clinton County Soil and Water Conservation Districts’ are jointly sponsoring an Indiana Master Naturalist (IMN) Workshop. The eightweek IMN Workshop will be held once a week beginning Sept. 7 and continuing through Oct. 26 from 6-9 p.m. at the Benton County Retirement Village in Oxford. Expert instructors will cover core curriculum topics which include geology/soils, wetlands, tree ecology, entomology, wildlife, botany, ornithology, native plants, greenscaping and people and natural resources.
