Faith Lutheran and Deer Creek Presbyterian Bible School children had enough donations to buy five beehives to send overseas to another country.

Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will have its Bible study and ice cream on Thursday evenings at 7. Come enjoy the Bible study, ice cream and fellowship.

Golden Girls and the Good Neighbor Gals had a joint outing recently. They were invited to Ben Dillon’s cabin. The women enjoyed lunch and ice cream sundaes. Before lunch Dillon spoke to the group and told the history of the cabin and also about all the work he has done to it. The Golden Girls attending were Dot Fulton, Pat and Bob Burnham, JoAnn Jones, Betty Gordon, Margy Albaugh, Jane Slusser and Lindy Shafer. The Good Neighbor Gals attending were Mary Ellen Johnson, Liz Mylet, Marilyn Hile, Helen Forgey, Betty Bell, Deb Deleplane and granddaughter, Karlee Kitchel, Doris Jean Bryan, Ellen Herr and her son, Emmitt Herr. Serving and helping with the meal and parking cars were Deb and Tom Bradfield and Scott Hile.
