A project of PROMOTING WILDCAT VALLEY has come to fruition. The bell out of the old Methodist Episcopal Church has been brought back to Ball Hill. It is now part of a memorial that will be dedicated on May 29 at 2 p.m. The first church at the site burned in 1870, and a year later it was rebuilt. The church closed and was demolished in the 1960s, but the bell in the belfry was saved. Thanks to forethought, committee work, and community support, a part of the church now remains at Ball Hill.
