Two teams of the Carroll County Special Olympics Lady Comets competed last weekend in the state basketball tournament held at DePauw University, Greencastle.

Both teams received runners-up honors for silver medals.

The teams are coached by Rebecca Cadwallader and Cindy Wagoner.

Members of Team B are Bethany Cadwallader, Emily Downham, Darlene Goyer, Shawna Sherman, Amber Miller, Amanda Hicks, Mary Spinker and Ashley Walker.

Members of Team A are Kristian Jenkins, Jessie and Diana Knight, Junie Sherman, Amber Stover, Sarah Townsley, Selena Wagoner, and Cary Walters.

Volunteers were Gale Downham, Kay Goyer, Dale Holeman, and Mary Mc- Carty.

The men’s Special Olympics sectional will be Saturday at Logansport with the state tournament the following weekend in Terre Haute.
