Ronald D. Roberts
Ronald D. Roberts, 68, of Rossville, died at 6:48 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
He was born May 10, 1941, in Indianapolis. In 1958 he graduated from high school in Hartford City. His marriage was on Dec. 21, 1979, to Clara Brattain, who survives.
A veteran of the United States Navy, he served from 1960 to 1964.
Mr. Roberts moved from California to Rossville about 13 years ago.
He worked in sales, most recently for Schwan’s, retiring in 2007.
He enjoyed bowling and was an avid sports fan.
Surviving with his wife are two stepsons, David Plummer of Tennessee and Rick Plummer of Delphi; three grandchildren, Leslie Plummer, Brandi Plummer and Alisha Plummer; and two great-grandsons, Trayven Brummett and Kyle Plummer.
Visitation will be today, Wednesday, from 5 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m. at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville. The Rev. Rick Jones will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Diabetes Association.

Mary Armarie Boyce
A memorial service for Mary Armarie Boyce, 84, of Sioux Falls, Iowa, was held March 4 there. Interment was at Union Cemetery, Guthrie Center, Iowa.
She died on Monday, March 1, 2010, in Sioux Falls.
Born Feb. 21, 1926, in Duck Hill, Miss., she was the daughter of Collie P. and Myra Long Rardon. At age 14 she and her four siblings went to live at the Soldiers and Sailors Children’s Home in Knightstown, Indiana. During those years she became close to her foster parents, Harold and Thelma Jones and their sons, Gordon, Keith and Phillip.
She resided with the Jones family west of Flora until her marriage in 1946 to Earl R. Clark, who preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to Andrew O. Boyce, who survives in Gladstone, Mo.
Also surviving are three children, four grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, two brothers, Larry Rardon (wife: Dorothy) of Carriere, Miss., and Charles Rardon of Frankfort; and a sister, Helen Wall (husband: Larry) of Prescott, Ariz.
