The Crystal Bison Award for Volunteerism will be presented March 30 at the Reifer’s Center in Lafayette. The event honors all those who make their local communities strong by donating their time to charitable and arts organizations.

The Crystal Bison Award recipient is an individual nominated for outstanding volunteerism from one of the many non-for-profit organizations in the area and the winner will receive $500 to donate to their organization.

This year, Anita Werling and Ed Gruber, both of Delphi, have been nominated for the award.

The award sponsor, Bison Financial Group, supports many organizations through its Vibrant Community Program.
