National Weather Service offers storm spotter class

Carroll County Emergency Management Director Dave McDowell announced Tuesday there will be a free National Weather Service (NWS) Storm Spotter class on March 31 at 6:30 p.m. at the Wabash & Erie Canal Interpretive Center in Delphi. Dave Tucek from NWS will conduct the class. The public is welcome to attend.
Emergency Sirens
Even though there was no siren testing this month, McDowell assures the public that sirens are working. There will be siren testing the first Saturday of each month beginning in April.
Also, individuals are encouraged to purchase a NOAA radio to receive upto minute weather and storm reports and alerts.
