Republican caucuses will be held at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on April 3 to fill vacancies recently created on the Delphi City Council and the Carroll County Council. The meetings will be held in the first floor lounge at the Carroll County Courthouse, Delphi.

All central committee and precinct committee representatives are encouraged to attend. A quorum of representatives must be present to vote to fill the vacancies on both councils.

The 8 a.m. meeting will be for the purpose of filling an at-large county council vacancy. The 10 a.m. meeting will be held to fill a city council vacancy in Deer Creek Precinct #2. At-large positions can be filled by anyone in the county and individuals interested in filling either vacancy are asked to contact Carroll County Republican Party Chair Penny Titus at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled caucus at (574) 967-4696 after 5 p.m., or by email pennyjo61@embarqmail. com.
