College students’ project advances to international level
Robin Guise of Flora, a junior at Indiana State University, participated in a team that won a regional interior design competition and will now advance to international competition.
The team was one of three finalists in the Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC) Midwest Student Design Competition.
Guise worked on the project with Bridget Lindauer of Ferdinand and Robyn Otter of Rising Sun.
The project is a library design incorporating technology and universal design. It was done as course work, and the students had only two weeks to complete the assignment.
The international level of the IDEC competition is in Atlanta, with Interior Design programs from across the nation competing. Winners will be announced at the 2010 IDEC Annual Conference on March 27.
