Carroll spring play Carroll Drama Club will present “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940” on March 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. and on March 14 at 2 p.m. The play (not a musical) is a murder mystery comedy set in a secluded mansion. The creative team of a new broadway show has gathered for an audition, not realizing that the evening has been planned as a setup to catch the “Stage Door Slasher.” Eddie McKuen (Jake Walker) and Nikki Crandall (Hannah Reinke) try to solve the mystery. Who is the slasher? Is it the director? The Producer? The Composer? The Tenor? Played along the lines of “Clue,” with plot twists and mistaken identities, this is a funny play that will keep the audience guessing till the end. Pictured l-r are Hannah Rienke, Brian Bordner, Elise Walker, Jake Walker, Jared Collins, Shelby Spray, Molly Jewell, Jordan Hendershot. Director is Noel Pinkard.
