This is your last chance to return those overdue materials and have the accruing fines forgiven. (Not available to accounts that have gone to collection.) Return the Borrowed Books Week runs through this Saturday, March 6. We will accept free-will donations of non-perishable goods that will be donated to the Carroll County Food Pantry in exchange for the forgiveness of fines.

The book club’s March selection is Garth Stein’s “The Art of Racing in the Rain.” A heart-wrenching but funny and uplifting story of family, love, loyalty, and hope - a captivating look at the wonders and absurdities of human life…as only a dog could tell it.

The club meets on the third Wednesday of the month at the Flora Senior Center. All ages are welcome. Extra copies of the book are available at the library.

The theme for the next storytime will be “Chicks.” One of the first signs of spring is the new baby chicks that arrive. We’ll have stories and more about all the baby animals and their friends. Preschool storytime is Tuesday at 10 a.m.
