Beverly J. Hathaway, 82, of Delphi, died at 5:45 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi.

Born April 1, 1927, in Yeoman, she was the daughter of the late John and Louise Mason Hawn. She attended Frankfort schools. Her marriage was on Oct. 10, 1945, to George Hathaway. They later divorced.

Mrs. Hathaway worked at CTS Micro Electronics in West Lafayette for seven years. Prior to that, she was employed at Bryan’s Manufacturing in Monticello for over 20 years.

She enjoyed working word puzzles and reading.

Surviving are three daughters, Sharon Hathaway of Delphi, Sara Swartz (husband: Larry) of Lafayette, and Kathie Yerkes of Camden; three sons, Steve Hathaway (wife: Kathie) of Muncie, Russ Hathaway (wife: Mary) of Kentland, and Gary Hathaway (wife: Elaine) of Delphi; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death were a daughter, Sandra Taylor in 2002 and five brothers, Keith, John, Doyle, Ralph and Dick.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 26, at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi, from 4 p.m. until time of services at 7. Pastor Bill McLean will officiate. Scattering of ashes will be in Brown County.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
