Indiana school corporations and newspapers across the state are working together to publish report cards for local school communities. Required for publication by Feb. 25, the Annual Performance Reports include the most recent data available on student test scores, graduation rates, school safety, teacher salaries, school corporation expenditures and more.

The Annual Performance Reports for Carroll Consolidated, Delphi Community, Rossville Consolidated and Twin Lakes school corporations are found in this week’s Comet on pages 4B to 7B. The data is also available online at www.doe.in.gov/apr. The Annual Performance Reports represent an ongoing effort to encourage students, parents and concerned citizens to play a more active role within their school communities. The Indiana Department of Education makes additional detailed information available yearround online at www.doe.in.gov/schooldata. This Web site extends beyond the capabilities of the printed page, allowing anyone to access a variety of school data, graphically display the results and even compare schools based on a number of characteristics.
