The Lafayette Adult Resource Academy (LARA) 20th ANNUAL SPELLING BEE FOR LITERACY will be Feb. 27 at Jefferson High School in Lafayette starting at 1 p.m. following the National Spelling Bee Regional competition. Teams consist of three members – friends, co-workers, family members, etc. Open to all ages, team registration deadline is Feb. 19. A FREE COIN SHOW will be held Feb. 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds, 1401 Teal Rd., Lafayette. The public is welcome.
