Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading leagues

Living Faith Church of the Brethren is accepting registration for its Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading leagues, a Christ-centered sports ministry for boys and girls ages kindergarten through sixth grade.

The spring football/cheerleading season will open April 3 and run through May 22. Players will also have a weekly one-hour practice. All games and practices will be held at the church.

Football players will need to attend one of the following evaluations: Feb. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Delphi Middle School; Feb. 4 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Carroll Elementary. Cheerleading orientations will also be held at these times.

Registration deadline is Feb. 13. Registration forms may be picked up at the church office, Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Flora Youth Baseball & Softball

Flora Youth Baseball & Softball will hold registration for the 2010 season at the Flora Park Boy Scout Cabin from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 6 and 13.

Delphi Youth Baseball

Delphi Youth Baseball’s Summer League registration and sign-up times for both players and coaches have been scheduled as follows:

Feb. 6 - Wabash & Erie Canal Interpretive Center lobby from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Feb. 9 - Delphi Elementary School from 6 to 8 p.m.

Feb. 20 - Wabash & Erie Canal Interpretive Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Eligibility includes children ages 4-12, as of June 1.

Level of play includes Pee Wee (ages 4-6), Minor B (pitching machine, age 8-&under), Minor A (live-arm, age 10-&- under), and Major (live-arm, age 12-&-under) leagues.

Registration cost is $30 for Pee Wee and $40 for all other age levels. First practices begin around April 1, with games starting May 1. Regular season will conclude June 19.

To register, be able to provide proof of age, uniform size, league desired, and fee at sign-up.

Registration is open to both boys and girls.

Camden Youth Baseball and Softball

Boys and girls ages 3-14 are invited to participate in Camden Youth Town and Country Baseball and Hoosier Heartland Girls Softball. Registration will be Feb. 7 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Camden Fire Station.

There is no registration fee. If unable to attend contact Beth Myers at (574) 686-2653 for the girls or Craig Myers at (765) 564-3647 for the boys.

Delphi Girls Softball Recreation League

Sign-up dates for Delphi Girls Softball Recreation League have been set as follows:

Feb. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dairy Queen;

Feb. 6 from 9 a.m. until noon at the Canal Interpretive Center;

Feb. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pizza Hut;

Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. until noon at the Canal Interpretive Center.
