Busy year for Delphi City Court

The Delphi City court report for 2009 indicates that the judge heard 297 cases, dismissed three, referred seven cases to the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, and transferred 17 cases to Carroll Superior Court. Two hundred fifty-five defendants paid fines and court costs. The judge performed 16 marriage ceremonies. There were no juvenile tobacco cases heard.

The court submitted $13,324.50 to the state as fees in 2009. County fees were $5,548 and city costs and fines were $8,160. Total receipts equaled $27,032.50.
