Frances P. Caldwell
Frances P. Eikenberry Caldwell, 96, of Camden, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Golden Living Sycamore Village in Kokomo.
Born Jan. 29, 1914, in LaPlace, Ill., she was the daughter of Oren and Grace Vigles Eikenberry. She graduated from Bringhurst High School. On Jan. 17, 1937, in Flora, she married Daniel M. Caldwell, who preceded her in death Jan. 18, 1989.
Mrs. Caldwell, a near lifelong resident of the Camden area, was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Camden.
She was a homemaker and loved her family and friends.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald D. Caldwell (wife: Margaret) of Kokomo and Gary B. Caldwell (wife: Beverly) of Brownsburg; a brother, Dean Eikenberry (wife: Audry) of Indianapolis; five granddaughters, Debra Eytchison, (husband: Steve) of Menifee, Calif., Julanne Andreorio (husband: Bill) of Hackettstown, N.J., Leanne Renato (husband: Jerry) of Bluffton, S.C., Sara Leathers (husband: Daniel) of Indianapolis and Sabrina Schorm (fiancé: Clay) of Noblesville; three grandsons, Bradley Caldwell (wife: Diana) of Alpine, Calif., Andrew Caldwell (companion: Lynn) of Indianapolis and Fred Schorm (wife: Amy) of Kokomo; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Tuesday at the Cree Funeral Home in Camden. Pastor Scott Vana officiated. Burial followed at the Camden Cemetery.
