      The Carroll County Board of Health recommended to county commissioners that Dr. Marilyn Wagoner be reappointed to the board. It was incorrectly reported in the Jan. 20 issue that Mary Blue received the recommendation.

      Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will have its monthly Saturday morning breakfast this Saturday with serving from 7 to 10 a.m. Come and enjoy the fellowship. Let the 4-H season begin
     4-H Super Saturday will be held Saturday from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the 4-H Community Building at the fairgrounds in Flora. This will be an opportunity to: have a sausage gravy and biscuit breakfast - sponsored by the Exhibit Board. Donations go toward the Carroll County 4-H Scholarship Fund.

Dance, Dance, Dance!
      Little kids naturally like to dance. Turn on the tunes, and they shake their booty. They make up the moves as they go along. But dance class is another matter. The energy and enthusiasm are there, but the hands and feet don’t always go the right place at the right time. The little dancers all watch the instructor, but the reaction time is all over the place.
