Local Red Cross accepting donations for Disaster Relief Fund

The Tippecanoe County Chapter of the American Red Cross is accepting donations for the Disaster Relief Fund in response to the major earthquake that hit Haiti last week. Donations can be called in at (765) 742-6975, sent in to the chapter at 615 N 18th St., Lafayette, IN 47904, or made on the Lafayette chapter’s website, www.tippearc.org.

The American Red Cross is working with Red Cross partners in Haiti and with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

Monetary donations to the American Red Cross will provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.
