Boil order lifted for north Delphi residents
The boil order issued Saturday for Delphi residents between Driefers St. and Brewer Ave., off of Washington St., was lifted Tuesday.
According to Delphi’s Water Foreman Craig Myers a four-inch water main ruptured and caused the problem. He said workers worked nine hours Saturday to replace the broken section of the pipe.
Myers said the city was required to test water samples twice, with at least 24 hours between the tests, to ensure drinking water safety before the boil order could be lifted.
