Edwin Paul Gangloff

Edwin Paul (Dutch) Gangloff, 81, Logansport, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at 7:45 p.m. at his residence.

Born Feb. 9,1928, in Camden, he was the son of Omer and Florence Hinkle Gangloff. His marriage was on Nov. 5, 1949, at the Faith Lutheran Church, to Olive E. Bowman.

Mr. Gangloff worked 40 years as a conductor on the Conrail Railroad. He was also a retired farmer.

He was a member of Tipton Masonic Lodge #33, Murat Shrine of Indianapolis, and Logansport Shrine Club.

He was also a member of the Yorktown Road Church of Christ.

Surviving with his wife are four daughters, Olive E. Gangloff, Debi Shinholt (husband: Jim), and Carol Mund, all of Logansport; and Donna Eckelbarger Peru; a son, David Gangloff of Logansport; a sisterin law, Mary Gangloff of Logansport; six grandchildren, Jeff Rose (wife: Kelly), Mark Rose (wife: Julia), Kyle Mullens, Neil Mullens (wife: Cher), Christina Reyburn, and Patrician Morrow (husband: Adam: a stepgrandson, Steven Shinholt (wife: Mandy); a stepgranddaughter, Nikki Shank (husband: Justin); 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A brother, Bob Gangloff, preceded him in death.

Services were held Saturday at Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport. Pastor Rick Woodall officiated. Burial followed at Rock Creek Cemetery, Logansport.
