HICKORY GROVE CHURCH will have a Christmas Eve Candlelighting Service at 10 p.m. The service will include special music and congregational singing, concluding with candlelighting and the singing of Silent Night. The service will last about 45 minutes and the public is invited to attend. Parents may bring their children in their pajamas. Hickory Grove is located five miles south of Idaville on Carroll County Road 700W.

The Youth Christmas Program at the BATTLE GROUND UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will be presented at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. worship services on Sunday. Scott Greeson & Friends Christmas Concert will be held in the afternoon from 4 to 5:30. Scott Greeson, Vickie Maris Greeson and Lee Ann Atwell celebrate through song with their original tunes and many Christmas favorites. The public is invited.

The FIRST BRETHREN CHURCH OF BURLINGTON will have a Christmas Candlelight Service on Sunday evening at 6. The service order will be the traditional “Lessons and Carols,” with scripture readings, carol singing, special music, and a homily by Dr. Peter Roussakis, pastor. First Brethren is located on Eighth Street in Burlington. All are invited.
