Martin and Zinn Cougar for the Month at Carroll Elementary is first grade teacher Lindsey Martin. She was nominated by Garrett Zinn who wrote, “You are the best teacher in the world. When you are happy you are nice. When you teach us lots of math problems we get better at them. She plays board games with us. I am glad you are my teacher.”

The Cougar of the Month program, sponsored by Carroll PTO) is designed to encourage youth to nominate a staff member for recognition. One letter, written by the student, is selected each month. Both student and teacher are recognized and receive a gift for being selected.
