H1N1 vaccinations offered to more people

Carroll County Health Nurse Hope Kinzer has announced that the Carroll County Health Department will offer H1N1 vaccinations on Thursdays and Fridays Dec. 3-4 and 10-11 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., closing for a lunch break from 1 to 2 p.m.

Those eligible to receive the shots are people with chronic medical conditions ages 24 to 65, pregnant women, parents with children six months and younger and children ages birth to 24 years old.

Kinzer will also offer H1N1 immunizations Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the WIC office in the Brooks Center, located at the corner of Prince William Rd. and Vine St. in Delphi.

After Dec. 11, the health department will immunize anyone under the age of 65 every Thursday and Friday in the courthouse.
