Area IV offers assistance to seniors for Medicare Part D prescription plans

Area IV Agency on Aging and Community Action Programs personnel will be available Dec. 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 901 Prince William Rd., Suite #D, in Delphi to help seniors with their Part D prescription drug plans.

Representatives from Link- Age Information and Referral Department will offer free appointments to help seniors compare their current drug plan to others to save money. Area IV staff will also evaluate seniors eligibility to receive a subsidy to assist in paying the $96.40 Part B premium or the prescription drug plan premium.

Those interested in making an appointment need to call (765) 447-7683 or (800) 382-7556. Seniors must bring their Medicare card and a list of medications with correct spellings and dosage information to the appointment.
