Carroll Cougars Wrestling Club took part in the Tournament of Titans on Sunday at Taylor High School.

The club took two of the medals in the 9 and 10-year-old 75-lb. weight class with returning member Cody Hayes finishing second and first year member Isaac Langston finishing third. Tanner Turnpaugh, who represented the club in the 5 and 6-year-old division finished the day with three wins, two by pin for third place. The club’s lone 7 and 8-year-old division wrestler, Dagan Noonkester, finished in third.

In addition to Hayes and Langston the club had wrestlers Darren Dillon and Thomas Piotrowski in the 9 and 10-yearold division with Dillon finishing second and Piotrowski sixth.

Kyle Hayes led the club with a first place in the 60-lb weight class of the 11 and 12-year-old division. Corey Hayes, Bradley Leonard and Zach Turnpaugh, finished strong with all three placing second in the 13 and 14-year-old division.

The club’s next meet will be the Boiler Elite Folkstyle Tournament to be held Dec. 13 at Harrison High School.
