Stafford June Ann Stafford will celebrate her 80th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday,

Dec. 5.

The event, hosted by her children, will be held in the Fellowship Hall at Center United Methodist Church, two miles north of Young America.

She was born Dec. 5, 1929, the daughter of Dena Vaughn and Harry Cohee.

She has two brothers, Jan Cohee (wife: Rosetta) and Jim Cohee (wife: Sandy), and two sisters, Jean Beamer and Jo Ellen Snyder (husband: Glen).

A graduate of Young America High School, she is a member of the United Methodist Church, Extension Homemakers Club, and Euchre Club.

She married Jack Conrad Stafford on March 25, 1951. They have two sons, Jeffrey Stafford (wife: Jerri) and Dana L. Stafford (wife: Valeria), both of the Galveston area. The Staffords have four granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
